SILVIA OLSEN | PHOTOGRAPHY

Silvia is a graduate in Fashion Photography from the London College of Fashion. She has exhibited at the Royal Academy as well as at a number of galleries in Shoreditch and East London. Her work has been published in art, design and lifestyle magazines in the UK, Norway, Japan and Russia. She has worked for a number of established magazines, including Elle UK, and collaborated with various design and marketing agencies on promotional shoots and advertising campaigns.

Silvia’s characteristic style combines vivid colours with extravagant, near theatrical expressionism, harboured in perceptive depictions of the human condition. She aims to convey what is beyond the obvious, in more dramatic visual experiences that not only excite, but also reflect upon the contradictions and wonders of modern life.

Silvia lives in London and can generally be found roaming the city, contemplating urban living, with her camera quick to hand.
